We are pleased to announce that Dave Ranyard, Head of Sony Computer Entertainment, London and Henrique Olifiers, Games Designer and Co-Founder of BAFTA award-winning Bossa Studios will be joining our fantastic roster of speakers for the SouthWest VR Conference on the 24th of February.

Other guests include but are not limited to; Channel 4, Pinewood Studios, Aardman, The Imaginarium and The Yogscast.

The event will be used to launch several new VR products with the potential to totally shake up not just the gaming industry but many other non-gaming spheres.

Dave Ranyard of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is already excited for the event: “I'm really looking forward to SouthWest VR - I think it’s going to be great to see different perspectives of people working in VR - and it really feels like a fantastic, grass roots event."

A special mention goes to recently signed up speakers; Duncan Burbidge from The Third Floor Inc, Mark Washbrook and Paul Colls, both from development studio Fierce Kaiju.

SouthWest VR will be hosted by the renowned games journalist Will Freeman and is supported by; Invest in Bristol&Bath, Creative Skillset, the Digital Cultures Research Centre, Webstart Bristol, the Centre for Digital Entertainment, the BMT Group and Unity 3D.

SouthWest VR will be fundraising for UK charity GamesAid, which will be running a GamesAid Tenner collection. Attendees are asked to bring £10 with them to donate to GamesAid.

Tickets are selling out fast and we’re running out of room! If you’re interested in attending, don’t miss out and buy your ticket today from the SouthWest VR Eventbrite page.
